Bio

Shannon Lloyd

…..

After graduating from UCLA Film School in 2002, Shannon formed $300 Movie, a video production company dedicated to producing a video for all his clients for exactly $300.

This brought him to the notice of the Los Angeles County Fire Department, where he was hired and worked as an EFP/ENG videographer from 2004 – 2006.

In January of 2007, an inauspicious web startup called Buzznet hired him to develop and head their video production unit. At Buzznet, Shannon produced, shot and edited hundreds of videos, directed two acoustic music series (Resonate, Decomposed), and was Supervising Editor for Fall Out Boy’s 2006 Honda Civic Tour. He eventually grew his department to include a shooting studio and a team of editors, production professionals and interns. Buzznet (now Buzz Media) has since become the internet’s largest community of music and pop culture websites.

Downsizing at the tail end of 2008 created an opportunity for Shannon to focus on independent production, freelance editing and consulting. Sunset Junction Media was formed in 2009, dedicated to producing music, entertainment, documentary and promotional videos for new media, internet, DVD and event presentation.
