As a brand ambassador, you are an independent contractor in the truest sense of the word. Working on your own time and utilizing your own methods, you act as your own agent to bring me leads. You can do this by cold calls, canvassing, personal referrals, or even advertising. As a brand ambassador, you are not a representative of Sunset Junction Media, and not an employee – you simply receive a finder’s fee every time a client that you refer books and pays for an SBClip or Hitched Flick.
Simply put: you are basically directing people to my website and telling them to specify you as their referral: no selling or detailed product knowledge needed (although a basic understanding of what they are would probably be helpful)!
SJM will provide you with a suggested sample script (if cold-calling) and some helpful contact database suggestions, as well as some general territory guidelines for the areas we service. If you feel that advertising would bring in leads, we will work with you on copy. You are then on your own to spread the good word!
